Website Use

This website provides information about my operations consulting services and ways to contact or book time with me.

You agree to use the website lawfully and not interfere with its operation or security.

I make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current, but I may update service descriptions, pricing, availability, or other content without prior notice.

Consulting Services

Services offered through this website may include:

  • Sounding Board sessions
  • Working Sessions
  • Process Assessments
  • Implementation projects
  • Ongoing Support

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee availability, acceptance of a project, or the creation of a consulting relationship.

Services that require a custom scope, including Process Assessments, Implementation, and Ongoing Support, will be subject to separately agreed terms, proposals, or service agreements. Those agreements will govern if they conflict with these website Terms.

Sounding Board Sessions

Sounding Board sessions are paid conversations offered in 30-minute and 60-minute formats.

These sessions are intended for discussion, perspective, and general operational guidance. They do not include advance preparation, written recommendations, implementation work, or follow-up deliverables unless separately agreed.

Payment is required at the time of booking.

Working Sessions

Working Sessions are 90-minute consulting sessions focused on a specific business or operational challenge.

Working Sessions may include advance review of information provided by the client, the scheduled meeting, and written recommendations or priorities following the session.

Working Sessions are available after an initial inquiry and confirmation that the service is appropriate for the client's needs.

Clients are expected to complete requested intake information at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. If the information is not provided in time, the session may need to be rescheduled.

Payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

Sounding Board sessions

You may cancel or reschedule your session at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled start time and missed appointments are nonrefundable.

Working Sessions

You may cancel or reschedule your Working Session at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled start time and missed appointments are nonrefundable because preparation time is reserved for the engagement and may already have begun.

If I need to cancel

If I cancel a paid session, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Additional circumstances

I understand that unexpected circumstances happen. Exceptions to these policies may be considered at my discretion.

To request assistance with a cancellation, rescheduling, or refund, contact hello@apdoherty.com.

These policies apply to Sounding Board and Working Sessions. Cancellation, termination, and payment terms for separately scoped consulting engagements will be addressed in their individual agreements.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information and making appropriate personnel and business information available when needed for the agreed services.

You are also responsible for evaluating recommendations and deciding whether and how to implement them.

Please do not provide passwords, financial account credentials, or sensitive personal information unless a secure method of sharing has been specifically agreed upon.

Recommendations and Results

My services are intended to help you better understand and improve business operations, workflows, processes, and systems.

Recommendations are based on the information available at the time and my professional judgment. Business outcomes depend on factors outside my control, including implementation decisions, resources, and changing circumstances.

I do not guarantee specific financial results, cost savings, revenue increases, or other business outcomes.

Confidentiality

I treat nonpublic business information shared during consulting engagements as confidential and use it for purposes related to providing the agreed services.

I may use third-party business software and AI-assisted tools in my work, subject to reasonable safeguards. When using general-purpose AI tools for process analysis, I remove or generalize identifying details and confidential business information unless appropriate authorization and safeguards are in place.

Additional confidentiality obligations may be established in a separate consulting agreement.

Intellectual Property

The text, design, and original content on this website belong to Annie Doherty Consulting unless otherwise indicated. They may not be reproduced or commercially reused without permission.

Ownership and permitted use of custom work products created during a consulting engagement may be addressed in the applicable service agreement.

Third-Party Services

This website may link to or use third-party services, including scheduling and payment platforms.

Those services may have their own terms, policies, and technical requirements. I am not responsible for interruptions or issues outside my reasonable control involving third-party platforms.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Annie Doherty Consulting is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this website or reliance on general information presented on it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any additional liability provisions applicable to a separately scoped consulting engagement will be addressed in the relevant service agreement.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions as my services or business practices change. The most current version will be posted on this website with an updated effective date.
